Remember my whole Sunday Summary idea where I was going to review my goals weekly? No? Well, that’s probably because I only did it once! Here’s to starting again:
The no spending days are going well. I wish I could say the same for savings. Some of my saving money hacks aren’t working. Turns out, I did miss the money. My credit union account should have had over $400 in it, but I had to use the money for bills. I still haven’t touch the Flexible Spending Account (current balance: $769) or the credit card rewards (current balance $78). I have made some progress personally with use of credit cards. Removing the cards from my wallet helps with impulse purchases.
Somehow my high blood pressure is back in full force. My husband swears its because his parents are coming. I don’t quite understand why since I have been great with exercising 3-4x a week. I have definitely increased my fruit and veggie intake with a fruit and spinach smoothie each morning. I am totally confused by this, but I am going to keep trying. After four days of really high numbers on my monitor, I started back on the medication. Hopefully, this wont last. My water consumption has been horrible, so maybe its that.
Not much progress here. I have been saving no to being overbooked, but definitely plenty of room for improvement here.
Being sick distracted me from daily blogging, but I have been doing better since my health is back. I need to find ways to bring more attention to the other goals I have in this section including find contentment and living in the present moment. I don’t feel particularly happy overall with my life and I know I should be! My thoughts are my biggest enemy as I am constantly thinking about how much I hate my job and feel overwhelmed with family life. I know that there is joy in all aspects of my life, but I am finding it hard to focus on that. Maybe March will be better!
